1) Sweepstakes Timing: The Degree Copa America Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins 6:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 21, 2024 and ends at 11:59 PMET on June 21, 2024 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
2) Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age or older as of date of entry. Employees of Conopco, Inc., d/b/a Unilever (the “Sponsor” or “Unilever”), their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, including Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (the “Administrator”), and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each (whether related or not), and public officials, are not eligible to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
3) How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, you may enter by visiting https://www.degreedeodorant.com/us/Copa-America.htmlOpens in a new window (the “Website”) and completing the online entry form as prompted, to receive one (1) entry (the “Entry”) into the random drawing, as described below. Limit one (1) Entry per person.
4) Random Drawing: On or about June 24, 2024, one (1) Grand Prize winner, two (2) First Prize winners, three (3) Second Prize winners, and two (2) Third Prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received. Drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a Prize are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received.
5) Prizes (“Prize”) and Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”):
a) Grand Prize (1 Grand Prize winner): A 3-day/2-night night trip for winner and one (1) guest to Miami, FL to attend Copa America Finals on July 14, 2024 (the “Finals”). Trip includes roundtrip economy air transportation from a major airport nearest winner home to the greater Miami, FL area; two (2) nights’ hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), two (2) tickets to the Finals; a Sponsor-selected $500 transportation gift card; and a $1,500 check made payable to the winner (ARV: $6,780).
b) First Prize (2 First Prize winners): Two (2) tickets to the Finals in Miami, FL on July 14, 2024 and a $1,000 check made payable to the winner to use towards transportation and accommodations (ARV: $2,380 per First Prize).
c) Second Prize (3 Second Prize winners): Two (2) tickets to the Copa America 3rd place game in Charlotte, NC on July 13, 2024 (“Third Place Game”) and a $500 check made payable to the winner to use towards transportation and accommodations (ARV: $910 per Second Prize).
d) Third Prize (2 Third Prize winners): Two (2) tickets to the Copa America semifinal game in East Rutherford, NJ on July 9, 2024 (“Semifinal Game”) and a $500 check made payable to the winner to use towards transportation and accommodations (ARV: $1,300 per Third Prize).
Limit one (1) Prize per person/household. Transportation/accommodations not included with First, Second and Third Prizes. Guests must be 18 years of age or older (unless winner’s child/charge) and must execute a release of liability prior to travel/Prize award, as applicable. If guest is a minor and the child/charge of the winner, the winner must execute a release of liability on behalf of minor. ln the event any winner or guest engage in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor's sole discretion) is inappropriate or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that trip early (if applicable), in whole or in part, or eject them from the Finals/Third Place/Semifinal Game (any “match”), as applicable, and send the winner and guest home with no further compensation to the winner or guest. Tickets must be used on dates and during season specified (which are subject to change). No refund or compensation will be made in the event of cancellation or delay except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be replaced or exchanged. Sponsor is not responsible for damages, losses, illnesses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of Prizes. The Prizes and each component thereof are awarded “as is” without any warranty of any kind except as required by law. No transfer, assignment, substitution or cash equivalent for Prize will be permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. In Sponsor’s sole discretion, due to Prize unavailability or for any other reason, Sponsor may award an alternate Prize (or portion of Prize) of equal value and the Sponsor’s obligation to the winner will be fulfilled, and no other additional compensation will be provided. Winners and guests must also follow any applicable COVID-19 protocols at time of Prize award.
An IRS Form 1099 will be issued for all winners. All aspects and components of the Prizes not expressly specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Acceptance of a Prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and likenesses, for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
6) Grand Prize Rules: Airline carrier's regulations and conditions apply. Trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Grand Prize winner and guest must possess valid travel documents (i.e., REAL ID, passport or other TSA-approved ID; visit www.tsa.gov for a list of TSA-approved IDs) in order to travel. Seat selection and timing of trip subject to availability and confirmation of reservations. In the event the Grand Prize winner lives within one-hundred fifty (150) miles of Miami, FL, round-trip ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no additional compensation will be provided. Certain restrictions may apply. Grand Prize trip must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor surrounding the Finals or Grand Prize will be forfeited. Travel must be round trip. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen travel vouchers or certificates. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed. All other expenses and costs, not expressly listed above, including, but not limited to, taxes, tips, meals, ground transportation, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, entertainment and transfers, are Grand Prize winner’s sole responsibility. No substitution or transfer of Prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute Prize (or portion of Prize) of equal or greater value in the event the Prize is unavailable or cancelled for reasons out of Sponsor’s control. Grand Prize winner will be responsible for any other costs or expenses associated with the Grand Prize.
7) General Rules: Potential winners will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and liability release and, except where prohibited, publicity release within twenty-four (24) hours of notification in order to be confirmed as a winner. If a potential winner fails to return the completed Declaration within twenty-four (24) hours, Declaration is returned as undeliverable or if a potential winner is deemed to be ineligible, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Return of Prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate potential winner will be selected. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator. See Exhibit A for additional requirements/details. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Entries become the property of the Sponsor. The Sponsor and their agencies and Administrator are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Website or the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the Website or Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. “Authorized account holder” of an email address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor, and/or Administrator (as identified in these Official Rules) are not responsible for the failure of any email or Entry to be received by Sponsor/Administrator on account of technical problems or congestion on the internet or at any website. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or Website may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes or Website, then the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the Sweepstakes and select the Prize winners at random from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. By entering the Sweepstakes, you hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents.
8) Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, the entrant agrees that Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, agents, retailers, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, and all of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, employees and assigns, members, representatives and agents (the “Released Parties”), will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by entrant for any liability for any bodily injury, loss, cost or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property, damages sustained due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from Entry creation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize or parts thereof, if applicable or participation in the Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes or related activity. Entrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorneys’ fees. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
9) Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Venue: SPONSOR IS REGISTERED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES WITH HEADQUARTERS IN NEW JERSEY. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE & FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SAME. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND HEREBY IRREVOCABLY SUBMITS TO THE VENUE OF THOSE COURTS WITHIN NEW YORK.

11) Winners List: For a list of winners, available for ninety days after April 24, 2024, send an email to: Winners@dja.com with “Degree Copa America Sweepstakes” as the subject line. Winners List will be sent after all Prizes have been awarded.
12) Sponsor/Administrator: The Sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Conopco, Inc., d/b/a Unilever, 800 Sylvan Ave., Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632. The Administrator of the Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., 100 Marcus Drive, Melville, NY 11747.

- Tickets must be used only by the winners and named guest(s). Entrants must not re-sell, give away or otherwise re-distribute any tickets they receive.
- Winners agree that:
- Their personal information and that of any guest(s) including, but not limited to their names, titles, country of residence, nationality, identity documentation numbers and where they have a disability or limited mobility, and additional personal data relating to their accessibility requirements, will be processed by Unilever and Unilever’s third party agencies in order to provide the agreed tickets [and arrange travel and/or accommodations] to the winner(s). Unilever will process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Unilever’s privacy notice, a copy of which is available here: Privacy Notices | Unilever Legal (unilevernotices.com)Opens in a new window (“Unilever Privacy Notice”). Unilever may also share such personal data with CONMEBOL who may use it to (i)process ticket requests; (ii) issue tickets; and (iii) carry out necessary health, security and/or background check; (iv) to comply with applicable law; and (v) and/or organise appropriate accessible seating for accessibility tickets, in accordance with CONMEBOL’s privacy notice and applicable data protection laws. Eligible CONMEBOL employees confirm that they will obtain the permission of any winners/guests present at a match [“Guest(s)”] they take, for the same.
- They will, and will procure that their Guest will comply with any instructions or guidelines communicated by Unilever, or by a third party on behalf of Unilever, and any request to enter into additional terms and conditions and provide such personal information as is required.
- They will comply with all applicable ticket terms and conditions and stadium code of conduct terms, including any requirements of local health authorities that apply to attendance at the match and the prohibition on the re-sale and transfer of such tickets, and prohibition of certain items in the stadium. Entrants acknowledge that a breach of these terms may result in their ticket being revoked, entry to the stadium refused or being asked to leave the stadium.
- They understand that the teams and players in respect of such COPA America game may be subject to change without notice, and COPA America games may be cancelled, rescheduled or relocated, at CONMEBOL’s discretion. [Unilever will not be responsible for losses to winners/guests for travel and accommodation expenses in this event.]
- Where winners and/or their guest has notified Unilever of a disability or limited mobility, Unilever will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate any accessibility requirements necessary to enable the winners and their guest to attend the stadium [including any related hospitality, travel and accommodation requirements]. While Unilever strives to ensure accessibility for all, the winner or guest acknowledges that Unilever cannot guarantee that third-party providers of tickets, hospitality, travel and accommodation will always meet specific accessibility requirements. These services are managed independently, and their policies and practices may vary. Unilever will not be responsible for any failure to meet accessibility requirements by third-party providers.
- Winners (and their guests) are responsible for ensuring that they have adequate and sufficient travel and medical insurance for their period of travel and duration of their stay in destination city and will be responsible for costs associated with obtaining such insurance.
- All winners (and guests)] must be 18 or older unless for guest, the child/charge of winner and may not be a public official.
- Entrants acknowledge that CONMEBOL retains rights under the ticket terms and conditions and stadium code of conduct terms to revoke or cancel tickets and Unilever may therefore be required to withdraw tickets awarded to winners and guests of winners at any time. In such circumstances Unilever will not be liable to winners or guests of winners for any losses incurred as a result of such withdrawal. By submitting an Entry, you grant CONMEBOL a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and make derivative works of any content you create at/around the COPA America (including but not limited to photographs) in any media and through any media channel, as applicable.
- The winner(s) and guests may be filmed / photographed / interviewed by the Sponsor or its agencies or CONMEBOL during COPA America. The winners and guests grant CONMEBOL, Sponsor and their agencies a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage / photographs / testimonials in any media and through any media channel.
- The winners and guests may be required to participate in publicity arising from this Sweepstakes.
